Stop sleepwalking. Start living.

Therapy for intentional living in Dallas, Texas
You spend the majority of your life on autopilot.
School, work, chores, homework.
Day after day, you go through the motions. You drive home and don’t remember how you got there.
You live for the end of the day, for the weekends, but on Friday night you’re too exhausted to do anything but watch Netflix. Then you spend Saturday cramming in as much as possible, only to spend most of Sunday dreading Monday.
You make plans for the future, for a time when you’ll have more time, more money, more freedom. The future never comes.
When wonderful things happen to you, like falling in love, you’re too afraid of losing it to feel the joy of it. You push it away.
At night, you can’t sleep. You’re too busy replaying your day, thinking of all of the things that you said, or should’ve said.
You spend so much time stuck in your head, reliving the past and worrying about the future, that you’re missing your entire life. Days, weeks, even years slip through the cracks. Your life is not your own.
I’m here to help you wake up.
If that sounds like hippy nonsense to you, bear with me. Science backs this up.
Research tells us that about 98% of thoughts are repetitive and useless. Most of these unhelpful thought patterns began in childhood, when you started telling yourself stories to make sense of the world and the things that were happening to you.
Fictional stories.
The thing is, most people never stopped believing in those stories. As adults, you carry them around with you and filter everything that happens to you through their lens. You didn’t get to choose the stories you told yourself back then. But you can choose now.
Stop letting your past dictate your present.
Right now, you’re at a decision point. What you choose right now has consequences. Do you want to keep living on autopilot, letting things happen to you rather than creating your reality? If you change nothing, nothing will change. You’ll stay stuck in the same patterns. You’ll continue to think, feel, and act the same way you always have.
Or. You can make a conscious choice to be present. To stop blindly reacting. To start noticing your thoughts and actively choosing different ones. To tell a new story. To wake up.
I can help you with that.
Ready to take your
life back, yet?
Hi, I’m Taylor
There’s nothing wrong with you.
I like to open with that, because it’s what too many people are thinking when they decide to seek counseling.
This world can be brutal, and every day we receive all kinds of messages about how we should be doing things. We should be spending our days at fulfilling jobs that help people and pay us a lot of money, working out five days a week, having amazing sex with our soulmate of a spouse, maintaining an Instagram-worthy social life, and getting eight hours of sleep.
It’s all a little much.
My goal is for you to walk out of your first session with me feeling a little more normal and a lot more hopeful.
I love my job, because I love empowering people to be who they truly are, not who everyone else says they should be. I want to show you the possibilities that life has to offer when you take matters into your own hands.
